Meet Our Founder: Briana Morford

Licensed Special Educator • RYT • RCYT • YACEP

I’m Briana, founder and owner of EmpowerMe. From a young age, I knew I wanted to be an educator and share my love of learning and exploration with others. For more than a decade, I’ve had the privilege of supporting children, teens, and adults with diverse abilities and needs, shaping my passion for creating opportunities where individuals feel seen, supported, and empowered.

Throughout my career, I developed a deep personal appreciation for movement, mindfulness, and yoga. These practices helped me navigate challenging years as an educator, providing balance and resilience when I needed it most. My work also showed me the need for more opportunities that support individuals as a whole, physically, socially, emotionally, and mentally.

This inspired me to bring my worlds of education and mindful movement together through EmpowerMe. I continued expanding my training in yoga, children’s yoga, adaptive practices, sensory processing, and regulation. Today, that original vision has grown into a community of programs, partnerships, and instructors bringing meaningful movement experiences to individuals of diverse abilities and needs, while also expanding into education and training that helps others create more accessible and inclusive movement experiences.
